SNOW DAY!!

It is a rare occasion in Oregon for us to get snow that sticks to the ground for more than five minutes. Today was one of those occasions. Sledding at the local park was a must!!

 Parker had no fear when it came to jumping on the sled and heading down the hill. He just went for it every time.

This was just the start of the snow we received. 

 Then came the freezing rain! I had never seen freezing rain before only heard about it. It was really cool to see but very dangerous. All of Portland and the surrounding areas were completely shut down for several days. No one wanted to be out in this. It was crazy listening to all the tree branches snap off from the weight of the ice. We had a few big crashes from larger trees loosing big branches. Fortunately for us our trees stayed in tact.
