Happy 1st Birthday Jackson!

Our baby is 1 year old! Can you believe it? I certainly can't. It feels like it was only yesterday that I held him in my arms for the first time. Why does the 1st year have to go by so quickly? Jackson has grown and change so much right before our very eyes. So to celebrate this occasion I wanted to make it as memorable and special as possible. Of course this is totally for mommy. Jackson won't remember a thing from this day but I will be able to look back down memory lane and remember this day forever. 

I had so much fun making all the decorations. It's was very time consuming. I started a week early and just took a little time each day until I had everything just the way I wanted it.

 Happy Birthday Dear Jackson...

 Jackson started out just dipping his fingers into the frosting a little, but once he realized it was okay and no one was going to take it away his cake he just went to town.

Mmmmm Yum, Yum, Yum!

 It's adorable to watch Jackson open his presents. He was not so sure what to do. He just looked around at all the people there staring at him encouraging him to just rip open the wrapping paper probably wondering, "What's all the fuss about?"

 "For me?" 

So there it is...one year older and wiser too...Happy Birthday to you!
