Woodburn Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival
April 17 2010
We have been hearing about this amazing tulip festival since we moved to Oregon. So this year we decided to take the drive to Woodburn and see what all the fuss was about. There were carnival rides, tractor rides, great food, beautiful farm land to explore and of course the famous tulip fields to see.
The Fields are about 40 acres. It's the most amazing and beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Here are the boys racing ducks in the water-trough races.

Holding hands!

Just having a little fun playing with the different photo affects.
The boys loved the tractor. They didn't want to share with anyone else. Who knew a tractor could be so cool?! This was definitely the highlight of our festival tour.
Aren't the colors incredible? We came to the tulip festival with our good friends the Eggleston's. They were sweet enough to take some family photos for us. It was the perfect day. 67 degrees and overcast. The sun wasn't beating down on us which made it really great for picture taking. however, we all still managed to get a little sunburn. We all came home with pink cheeks and arms. Next time we'll have to remember the sun screen. Crazy...who would have thought on a cloudy day you can still get burned?
Awww...we love our daddy!
This was the coolest farm to explore. The fields were so fun to run through. I don't think we were supposed too, but we asked permission and they said it would be okay.
