Parker found a little sand crab.

We enjoy climbing on the rocks and looking for starfish when the tide is low.

Tanner is trying to break off the muscles stuck to the rocks. He found this was not an easy task.

Loads of beautiful, colorful starfish!

Tillamook cheese factory

Ryan's little brother Mark came to visit us this summer just before school started for him. We had a great time having him in our home. We went to Tillamook bay and jetty just next to the ocean. Ryan and the boys did some fishing off the jetty then we spent some time at the Tillamook cheese factory touring and tasting all the cheese yummy cheese. Of course we went back to the beach and had a ball running from the waves and looking for sea creatures. The boys enjoyed digging in the sand and collecting sand crabs and starfish. Before we headed home we stopped on the side of the road over looking the ocean and picked some fresh delicious blackberries. We sure had a great time. I love living so close to the ocean!
