Round Two Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, and Ear equalization tubes!
I took Parker to see an audiologist per request of his pediatrician to see if he had problems hearing. He was also complaining a lot about his ears hurting, but every time I took him in to get his ears checked there was no sign of infection. While he was in the appointment I kept telling myself that this was a waste of time I was sure Parker was hearing just fine. When the audiologist came out with Parker's results I was shocked. He did have some hearing loss in his right ear do to fluid that had been building up for some time. We were referred to the ENT specialist that had seen Tanner back in May. He told us that Parker would have to have is tonsils and adenoids taken out and ear tubes put in. This was not the news I wanted to hear. I had just gone through this several month earlier with my youngest son and I new how miserable this all could be. But we wanted to get Parker's hearing back and get him healthy again. So we scheduled his surgery for the next week.

It's surgery time!
