Tillamook Beach Aug 4th 2012
Ryan and I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to the beach with our kiddos. The forecast said 85 degrees and sunny and we couldn't pass up this opportunity since days like this on the Oregon coast are few and far between. We packed up the car and got to the beach just before lunch. The kids were super excited. Mom and dad were excited too. We haven't made it to the beach since May and we planned to spend all day until the sun went down. Tillamook beach has a great Jetty that Ryan took Tanner out on to do some fishing while Parker and Jackson hung out with mom on the sand.
Parker and Jackson
The best thing about Parker is he can make friends anywhere he goes. This is Parker and his friend Isaac. They played for hours together. They both have great imaginations and spent the whole day entertaining each other.

Jackson is a lot of fun at the beach. He loves the sand and doesn't mind getting messy.
Jackson could not get enough of the sand. He had to roll in it, lay on it, throw it, flip it, and yes, even eat it. Sandy, poopy diapers are the worst to clean.
The boys had a great time letting daddy bury them in the sand. Now when ever we go to the beach Jackson thinks if someone is digging a hole that it's meant for him to climb in. LOL!
Tanner and Isaac!
Ryan told me that while he was fishing with Tanner a seagull flew over him and pooped on his shirt. I had a good laugh. You can see the poop on his shirt. Yuck!
There is always a good breeze on the coast which makes it nice for flying kites.
This is what summer is all about. Spur of the moment activities that keep us happy and busy all day. :)
