Pacific City
Another Sunny Day at the Beach!
Today is the big day. Ryan and Brian are taking there kayak's out in the ocean for the first time. They are so excited. I was excited for them to, as well as the boys. Although I think the boys thought they were going to get to go too. Not this time kiddos.
The men made sure they were fully equipped with everything they could possibly need for catching fish and crab. The weather was perfect and it only took them a few tries to get their kayak's over the waves. We laughed, (I mean Kimberley and I) laughed our heads off watching our hubby's try and get over the waves. They first crashed into each other, then Brian completely rolled his kayak and went under the water. Some nice man on a surf board come to Brian's rescue and helped push him over the waves. It was awesome. I wish I had it on video so you could all share the laughter too. Brian may have gone under on his way out, but Ryan went under coming in. His kayak hit a wave just right and the next thing he knew he was under water. Classic!
Go get 'em boys!
Random kid I don't know, Tanner and Eli!
Nora and Jackson. These two little bugs are adorable together. They play so well and are so good to share everything with each other.
The fog started to roll in shortly after we started playing, but that didn't affect our fun. It was still really warm and there wasn't a nasty wind to bother us. The kids played for hours digging, scooping, and building whatever lit their fancy.
Kjeaton and Tanner!
So tuckered out after a long afternoon. He played hard and slept hard. Good boy! He really is my sunshine.
Here's Ryan coming back from an exciting new adventure. Ryan had a blast. He didn't catch fish but he did get a few dungeness crab.
We will definitely be going back to pacific city beach again. It was beautiful and there is this tall hillside that keeps the wind from bothering us. This is really nice because many times we go to the beach and the wind is so strong you feel like you are fighting it the whole time which isn't much fun.
Here's the ugly little sea cockroaches Ryan caught. They sure tasted yummy.
