Easter Egg Hunt at Woodvillage Park!
We decided to brave the cold nasty rainy weather Saturday morning and take our boys to the park for an Easter egg hunt. Parker has been begging to see the Easter bunny all week so I didn't want to disappoint him by not going. The Easter bunny arrived in style this year. He flew in by helicopter. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of this because it was poring rain and I didn't want my camera to get wet. Tanner didn't want anything to do with the Easter bunny, and Parker after begging all week to see him didn't even want to go shake his hand. Oh well, at least we got to see a cool helicopter.

We met up with our friends the Fillmore's. We were all freezing and couldn't wait for the egg hunts to start so we could go home and get warm. There was a long wait before each egg hunt. It was grueling and not really worth the wait. But the kids enjoyed themselves and that's what matters.

Here's Parker waiting patiently for his age groups egg hunt to start.

I'm ready to hunt for eggs!

Tanner didn't care much about putting the easter eggs in his basket. He just picked them up shook them and threw them down again. He did like picking up the taffy off the wet grass and bringing me each piece to put in his basket. That kid has a sweet tooth. He didn't want the eggs because he didn't know there was candy hiding inside. He just wanted what he could see with his two little eyes.
