Cannon Beach Sept. 08

We took a day trip to cannon beach a few Saturdays ago with some friends the Eggleston's. We had a really great time playing in the sand and splashing in the water. Parker loves the beach. He could play all day and never tire of it. Tanner doesn't feel the same way. At least not yet. He's a little young to be able to fully enjoy the beach. Right now all he wants to do it eat the sand which he figured out quickly that it's not meant to be eaten. In the picture below you can see the massive kite that Ryan is trying to get ready to fly.

I love these next 3 pictures of Parker and Ryan on the sand. Brian Eggleston took these pictures and managed to get their reflections in the sandy water.

Ryan told me I look like a bum in this picture. I think he's right. I do look like a bum. I kept my hood on because it was so windy my hair was flapping in my face.

Kim and I tried really hard to keep our eyes open for this shot. The sun was so bright my eyes kept watering . I felt like a deer in the head lights.

Sweet baby Tanner cuddled up in my arms after falling in the sand face first.

The sand stuck to his face because of all the greasy sunscreen I lathered him with.
